Bobby Halvorson received his Doctor of Musical Arts degree from California Institute of the Arts in the Performer-Composer concentration in May of 2013. Emphases include extended vocal technique, contemporary concert music, orchestral and chamber music, folk music, pop music, and country music.
Bobby Halvorson arranges music for ensembles with a distinct strength in vocal arranging and vocal harmony. He teaches undergraduate tonal music theory, songwriting forum, a composition course on techniques used in composing for voice, composition, theory and voice lessons.
